Hilltop Acres Guiding Service thrives on sharing our love for nature with adventurers of any experience level. Our team of guides are dedicated to providing exceptional outdoor experiences that connect you with the beauty and serenity of the great outdoors.
Our location in Alfred, New York - Steuben County offers some of the best hunting experiences and wildlife in the state, including some of the highest Pope & Young and Boone & Crocket yields. With the vast fields of agriculture and plentiful acres of healthy standing timber, woody browse, acorns and beach nuts, Steuben County offers the ideal environment for wildlife to grow, mature and thrive. We take pride in both our safe hunting practices and sustainable hunting habits to ensure the healthy growth, maturity and population of our wildlife.
Accommodations serve all hunters from new, experienced or those who need handicapped services. We offer transportation, ground level room & board, ground hunting, tree stands, elevated blinds and hunting blinds. Whether you are limited in your outdoor abilities and knowledge or looking to challenge yourself with a new hunting experience, we can accommodate you.

Meet Your Guide
A second generational licensed New York State Guide, Jake Palumbo was born and raised fully integrated in the Great Outdoors. From the mountains of the Adirondacks to the fields and hardwoods of Upstate New York, hunting fishing and guiding has been a integral lifestyle over the past several decades as a son of a Licensed NYS hunting and fishing guide. Striving to not only bring you the hunting experience of a lifetime, but to also teach and guide outdoorsmen and women to becoming more experienced and integrated with the outdoors and the wildlife that it provides.
Fully licensed by the NYS Guides Association in camping, hunting, fishing, hiking and small watercraft. We also come prepared and trained with thorough medical aid and emergency response training and experience including; First Aid, CPR, Search and Rescue and Trauma Care.
